resistance requires us to play the long game. are you ready?
check out our upcoming workshops, writing communities & small group coaching cohorts
We are living through a moment that none of us were trained for. Regardless of title or position, people across the government and humanitarian sectors are being asked to lead in ways we never imagined we’d have to in this country. There is no manual for navigating authoritarianism, no playbook for leading through the erosion of institutions and programs you may have dedicated your life to protecting. And yet, you are still here—holding the line, making impossible decisions, and standing in the gap as everything shifts around you. That alone is extraordinary.
But if we are going to sustain this fight—not just for today, but for the long haul—we have to intentionally build the skills to do so. Moral courage isn’t just about taking a stand; it’s about staying rooted in your values, even when the weight of it all feels unbearable. It’s about resisting the pull of burnout and despair by embracing not just self-care, but community care—because none of us can do this work alone.
That’s why I’m offering a series of workshops, writing groups, and small group coaching sessions designed to help leaders cultivate skills like awareness, compassion, moral courage, and collective care—all of which are needed to lead with clarity and integrity in an unprecedented time. These spaces will help you stay grounded, connected, and engaged—so you can continue to show up in ways that are sustainable, human, and aligned with your deepest values.
Because the smallest acts—the most human ones—matter. And caring for yourself in the face of injustice isn’t a luxury; it’s an act of defiance.
💡 upcoming workshops
Moral courage and resistance over the long term require more than just determination—they require deep self-awareness, compassion, and the ability to stay present with what’s happening in our minds and bodies. Sustaining our strength and staying resilient in the face of injustice means understanding how stress, fear, and inherited narratives shape our thoughts and actions, so we can move beyond reactive survival patterns into intentional, values-aligned responses.
These pay-what-you-can, 2-hour virtual workshops are designed to help you cultivate the skills to stay rooted in your values, engaged in the work, and impactful—without burning out.

⚖️ rooted resistance: strengthening moral courage for collective care, resistance + action
In this era of polycrisis, we’ve seen individuals rise up with moral courage—people at every level who challenge injustice, speak hard truths, and act with integrity, even when it’s uncomfortable. It may seem like only the bold and fearless are capable of this kind of action, but the truth is, moral courage isn’t an inherent trait—it’s a skill that can be cultivated.
With practice, reflection, and intention, we all have the capacity to step into our courage and meet this moment with conviction.
In this 6-week small-group coaching cohort, you’ll join a supportive community of no more than 12 participants to develop the inner strength, clarity, and resilience needed to lead with courage in uncertain times—regardless of title, role, or position. Together, we’ll dive deep into the forces that shape our moral courage, from culture and history to identity and neurobiology, and explore how to apply it in your own life and leadership.
